Say It with Ears

Photo 1

Photo description: A single Arctic hare is sitting upright and in profile, facing forward. The eye that is showing is wide open. Its ears are upright, together and with the opening facing backwards.

Clue: Something has this Arctic hare's full attention. With its eyes surveying a wide area in front, and the ears directed backward, this alert hare has 360° coverage.

  1. "I haven't been seen yet. I'm safe here. No need to panic! I'll just sit tight."

  2. "What's that? If only I could see over that ridge! Am I in danger? I should run! Where's Mum?"

  3. "What's going on behind me now? I don't really want to move. Right in the middle of rest time and I'm going to have to move? Can't those biologists just leave me alone?"

  4. "Get out of my space or I'll bite you! Find your own place to eat!"

  5. "Hey, that smells interesting! Where is she? I'm on the track of something here."
