Get a taste of the history and natural science that goes into Japan's iconic spirit: sake.

We are honoured to welcome His Excellency Ambassador Kenjiro Monji of Japan, a world renowned Sake Samurai, as our guest expert for this evening.

In this special Saturday tasting event, explore how rice, water, mould and yeast transform into this unique beverage with our botanist Paul Sokoloff.

A selection of amuse-bouche will accompany the tasting.

In English with bilingual (French/English) materials and limited in-person support.

Attendees are welcome to explore the Ikebana exhibition Origins before the event.
