For Teachers

Develop your collection and identification skills for macro-invertebrates and plants in this free, half-day workshop. Find out new ways to apply them in class.

Open House

Enjoy some wine and cheese, and attend the opening of the special exhibition Frogs – A Chorus of Colours. In October, visit Canada's vast natural-history collections and meet some of our researchers and curators.

Our library is open to the public. We have thousands of resources about the natural sciences, including books, periodicals, our own publications and other resources. The library is at our research and collections facility, in Gatineau, Quebec.

Dozens of scientific terms related to natural history are explained in our thematic glossaries.

Teacher's Kits

Our kits are great supplements for your teaching. They are filled with specimens, props, lessons plans and activities.
