Specimens to Go
Calling all educators! You can access the Canadian Museum of Nature's collection of mounted specimens and models of birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, dinosaurs and minerals for use in your classroom.
Specimens to Go can play an important role for educators in the Ottawa area in enhancing their students' learning experience, or for artists, naturalists, researchers and others seeking models for study. The specimens provide an especially strong visual support for science activities and can be the basis of study units integrating a variety of subjects (e.g., language, science, visual arts).
