There's no easier plant to cultivate than Canada goldenrod. It literally takes care of itself and almost seems to do better when it's ignored. The colour-burst of this plant is unbeatable and very welcome at the end of the summer. The bees also seem to appreciate this plant; they literally swarm around it when it's in bloom. This plant is a source of natural dye for wool. Discover other native plants on the Web site of the Canadian Museum of Nature. |
